Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.) hosted a Constituent Resource Fair at the Wilmington University New Castle Campus. Over 260 Delawareans attended and received assistance and resources from the over 40 participating federal and state agencies including the Internal Revenue Service, Social Security Administration, Small Business Administration, the Delaware Department of Labor, and several community organizations. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs was also on-hand administering PACT Act eligibility screenings to veterans. A full list of agencies that attended the fair can be found here. “One of the most important parts of my job is informing Delawareans about all of the services available to them through my office and other community partners,” said Rep. Blunt Rochester. “I’m thrilled that over 260 Delawareans came out to my office’s Constituent Resource Fair today to receive assistance from federal and state agencies, secure critical job and housing resources, and connect with important community organizations.” Delawareans experiencing issues with federal agencies such as the IRS, VA, and Medicare are encouraged to visit Blunt Rochester’s website at BluntRochester.house.gov or contact her Wilmington office at 302-830-2330 for assistance.
