I am pleased to announce that my office is hosting a 2024 Congressional App Challenge, a competition to encourage middle and high school students to utilize and learn coding skills! It is an opportunity for students to compete against other peers within their district by creating an original application in a variety of programming languages and on different platforms.
This competition is open to all Delaware students who meet the eligibility requirements, regardless of coding experience. Students of all skill levels are strongly encouraged to participate. The winner will receive an invitation to the #HouseofCode Capitol Hill Coding Exposition in D.C. and their app will be featured on House.gov and the Congressional App Challenge website.
Students can register for the Congressional App Challenge here. The deadline to register is October 24th, 2024. The Delaware winner will be selected at the end of the year by Congresswoman Blunt Rochester and a panel of judges.
