That’s why I’m excited to share that my office is hosting a Passport Processing Clinic in partnership with the Philadelphia Passport Agency on Saturday, March 9th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Kirkwood Library in Wilmington. The Passport Agency will be on-site accepting applications, verifying identifying documents, and collecting payment for applications processed.

Come prepared for your appointment! Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Completed passport application – printable here

  • 2 Printed Passport photos (2” x 2”)

  • Payment – only checks, money orders or credit cards will be accepted - find complete list of fees here

  • Proof of US citizenship (must be original or certified copy) – find acceptable forms of proof here

  • Current ID - find acceptable forms of ID here

  • If applying as a minor (under the age of 18): In addition to the above information, either all parents or guardians will need to be present, or one parent/guardian and a signed and notarized parental consent form, found here

As a reminder, here are the current passport processing times: 

  • Routine: 6 to 8 weeks

  • Expedited: 2 to 3 weeks with an extra cost of $60

  • Will I leave this event with my passport?

    • No, passports will not be given out at this event. Current processing times are between 6 and 8 weeks and 2 and 3 weeks for expedited passports.

  • Will there be walk-ins allowed at this event? 

    • No, registration is required and there is a limited number of appointment slots. 

  • How many appointments do I need if I am bringing my family members with me? 

    • You only need 1 appointment per family. 

  • How long will my appointment take? 

    • Each appointment will take about 30 minutes. 

  • Where can I get a passport photo?

  • What should I bring with me to the event?

    • At this event, the U.S. Passport Agency will only be accepting passport applications. If you need help with an existing passport application, please call our Georgetown office at 302-856-4773 to speak with one of our Caseworkers.
