Blunt Rochester Announces Office Changes In Response to COVID-19

WASHINGTON - Today, Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.) announced the following changes to office operations in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

 

  1. The physical location of the Congresswoman’s Washington, D.C. office will be closed and staff will be teleworking beginning on Friday, March 13th. 
  2. Offices in Delaware will remain open for staff. All meetings will be held virtually. 
  3. At the direction of the Sergeant-at-Arms the Capitol building is closed to tours beginning Friday, March 13.  

 

“The health and well-being of my staff and constituents is my top priority,” said Rep. Blunt Rochester. “My office will still be hard at work serving the people of Delaware, but as we work to combat the spread of the coronavirus, these steps will help protect public health.”
