WASHINGTON – Today, Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.) called for the immediate passage of the third Congressional Coronavirus relief package issuing the following statement.
“It’s time to pass the bill. Members of the Senate and the administration have been negotiating in good faith for a number of days to form a legislative package that can pass the Congress. The bill is not perfect - no bill this size is perfect - but we cannot let perfect be the enemy of progress during a national crisis. American families, workers, and small businesses are hurting, and this is no time for delay. This is not the end of our work, and we must continue to address the needs of the American people as this crisis unfolds, but for now - it’s time to pass the bill.”
