WASHINGTON - Today, Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.) released the following statement after President Joseph R. Biden’s first Joint Congressional Address. “Tonight, President Biden laid out in clear terms his direction and vision for the United States of America. From recovering from this pandemic, to rebuilding in its wake, and restoring the soul of our nation, I’m not only incredibly heartened by all the Biden-Harris Administration has already done in the first 100 days, I’m incredibly optimistic about what’s to come,” said Blunt Rochester. “And while we’ve already accomplished a great deal, we know we have so much more to do. I look forward to working with my colleagues to pass the American Jobs Act and the American Families Plan and sending both bills to the President’s desk.
