WILMINGTON, Del. - Today, Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.) led a three-county tour of bridges throughout Delaware that will benefit from funding provided by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Blunt Rochester voted to pass the bill on November 5, 2021, and President Joe Biden signed the bill into law on November 15, 2021. The State of Delaware will $225 million over 5 years and $45 million in Fiscal Year 2022 to help repair and replace bridges through the law.

“Today was an opportunity to see first-hand the benefits that the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will bring to the First State,” said Rep. Blunt Rochester. “From fostering innovation, to improving quality of life, to creating good-paying jobs - the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will help spur our economy up and down our state. Today I had the opportunity to see the potential improvements that will come to all three of our counties over the next few years and look forward to seeing those projects come to fruition.”

Today, Blunt Rochester was joined by representatives of the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) as she made stops at the following locations:
