The Carbon Reduction Program was originally authored by Senator Carper (D-Del.). “The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law continues to deliver historic investments in cleaner, more convenient transportation options for Delawareans,” said Rep. Blunt Rochester. “This $27 million will help slash commute times, lower costs for working families, and combat harmful carbon pollution, all while creating good-paying, union jobs. I commend Senator Carper’s role in the creation of this program in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. I’m proud to have voted to pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law last year, and I look forward to seeing how this funding will be implemented across the state to reduce emissions and improve the everyday lives of Delawareans.” The investments total more than $6.4 billion across the country.
