Blunt Rochester Hosts Tax Filing Information Session to Get Delawareans’ Tax Questions Answered

WILMINGTON, Del. - Today, Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.) hosted a tax filing information session with special guests from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Delaware Taxpayer Advocate, Nehemiah Gateway CDC, and the House Committee on Ways and Means. Blunt Rochester collected questions from Delawareans about their concerns including electric vehicle tax credits, filing while collecting Social Security, and changes in tax laws for this filing season. Blunt Rochester encouraged Delawareans seeking help with IRS-specific issues to contact her office for further assistance.

“As your sole member of the House of Representatives, helping Delawareans navigate federal agencies is at the core of my job, and I want Delawareans to know that my office is a resource for you,” said Rep. Blunt Rochester. “I want to thank the IRS, Delaware Taxpayer Advocate, Nehemiah Gateway CDC, and the House Committee on Ways and Means for joining me for today’s information session to share their expertise and answer as many questions as possible from Delawareans about filing their 2022 taxes.”

Delawareans looking for assistance with IRS issues should contact Blunt Rochester’s Wilmington office to speak with a member of her casework team.
