NEW CASTLE, Del.  — Today, Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.) hosted her Constituent Resource Fair at the Wilmington University New Castle Campus. Delawareans attended the fair to get assistance from over 40 federal and state agencies, nonprofits, and community organizations such as the Social Security Administration, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Delaware State Housing Authority, and the Wilmington Job Corp. Additionally, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs brought a mobile unit to administer PACT Act eligibility screenings to veterans. New Castle County Paramedics also brought a mobile van to provide health resources to Delawareans.

“Connecting Delawareans to federal, state, and local resources is exactly what my office is here to do,” said Rep. Blunt Rochester. “I’m proud that Delawareans were able to come out to our fair today to receive assistance, obtain critical job and housing resources, and connect with local organizations. Having just hit a major milestone in returning $2 million to Delawareans through constituent casework, my team and I remain committed as ever to bringing services to the people of Delaware.”

The fair comes on the heels of Blunt Rochester’s announcement that her office has officially returned $2 million to Delawareans, her recent Senior Constituent Resource Fair in Lewes, and her office’s Mobile Office Hours held throughout the state.

Residents experiencing issues with federal agencies are encouraged to visit Blunt Rochester’s website at BluntRochester.house.gov or contact her Wilmington office at 302-830-2330 for assistance.
